Includes:
Planning/Initial Consultation to set goals, explore options, and outline your timeline
Introduction to Induced Lactation and Re-lactation Class to understand protocols and realistic expectations
Multiple follow-up consultations to support you through induction, early feeds, pumping plans, bottle and supplement strategies, and feeding transitions
A personalized induced lactation protocol with ongoing adjustments as your body and baby respond
Partner/caregiver education as applicable
Secure messaging support throughout your journey
Pumping and equipment guidance
Return to work planning
Combination feeding guidance
Provider coordination as needed
Valid for 1 year. This means you’ll have expert support through induction, the early months of feeding, and any adjustments such as returning to work, combination feeding, or changing your goals.
Extended client care coverage for scheduling, resources, and message coordination
*Clinical questions received after business hours will be addressed by IBCLC during next business day
*What kind of milk supply can I expect?
Every body and every journey is different. Research and clinical experience tell us that some parents are able to develop a full milk supply through induced lactation, while many others make a partial supply and continue to use donor milk or formula as part of their plan.
In this program, we focus on helping you:
Use evidence based protocols safely and effectively
Maximize your body’s milk making potential
Build a feeding relationship that feels bonding and sustainable, whether your supply ends up full, partial, or focused on comfort nursing.
