About Me

Hi, I’m Abigail Miles: Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and founder of LatchLine

With over a decade of experience supporting families, I’ve seen firsthand the joys and challenges of breastfeeding/chestfeeding; including the unique journey of induced lactation. My mission is simple: to ensure you have the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to reach your feeding goals no matter where you are in your journey.

Why I Do This Work:

Infant feeding is one of the most personal and impactful experiences a parent can have. But it’s not always easy, and too often, families are left feeling overwhelmed or unsupported; especially when their journey doesn’t look “typical”. That’s why I created LatchLine: to make expert, compassionate, and inclusive lactation support accessible to all families, no matter where they live or what challenges they face.

My Approach

With a background as a nurse and IBCLC, I bring both medical expertise and a deep understanding of the emotional layers of breastfeeding/chestfeeding, and induced lactation. I’ve worked with families navigating everything from latch challenges and milk supply concerns to the complex, step by step process of inducing or rebuilding milk supply. My approach is always tailored to your unique needs and goals, blending evidence based guidance with practical, real world solutions.

What You Can Expect from LatchLine:

  • Acceptance: Every family’s journey is different, and there’s no “one right way” to feed your baby. I’m here to listen, support, and empower you.

  • Expert Guidance: With years of experience and a commitment to staying current with evidence based practice, I offer care you can trust.

  • Convenience & Accessibility: Through virtual consultations, classes, and secure messaging, I’m able to walk alongside you every step of the way.
