About Me

Hi, I’m Abigail Miles: Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and founder of LatchLine

Lactation care for every kind of feeding journey.

There is no single way to become a breastfeeding family.

For some, the journey begins during pregnancy and unfolds exactly as they imagined. For others, it involves unexpected challenges, a change in plans, or a path to lactation that looks entirely different from the beginning.

Wherever your journey starts, you deserve knowledgeable, compassionate support along the way.

Why LatchLine?

Experience you can trust. Care designed around you.

For more than 15 years, I've helped families navigate the many ways feeding a baby can look. As a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I've supported families through the excitement of preparing for a new baby, the early days of breastfeeding, unexpected challenges, and feeding journeys that look completely different from what they originally imagined.

My clinical experience has included hospital-based lactation care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, medical-surgical nursing, WIC, and private lactation support. Along the way, I've worked with families navigating everything from latch and milk supply concerns to pumping, returning to work, NICU experiences, breastfeeding after surgery, and medically complex feeding situations.

I've also developed a particular passion for supporting families pursuing induced lactation and relactation, including adoptive parents, intended parents, non-gestational parents, co-lactating families, and others whose path to providing breast milk may not begin with pregnancy or follow a traditional timeline.

But expertise is only part of the experience.

I created LatchLine because I believe families deserve more than a quick appointment and a list of things to try.

They deserve to feel heard.
They deserve care that considers the whole picture.
They deserve a plan that makes sense for their goals.
And they deserve support that can evolve as their feeding journey does.

That's why LatchLine is built around personalized, ongoing lactation care rather than one size fits all solutions. Whether you're preparing to breastfeed your first baby, working through an unexpected challenge, rebuilding a milk supply, or exploring whether lactation is possible without pregnancy, we'll start where you are and build from there.

Virtual care. Real connection.

LatchLine is 100% virtual, making expert lactation support accessible wherever you are.

Through secure virtual appointments and ongoing support, we can work together to understand what's happening, identify your options, create a plan, and adjust that plan as your baby, situation, and your goals change.

Because your feeding journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

Your path. Your baby. Your journey.
